Reporting to the General Manager, Pam will sell new and used Toyota products, which includes the Lexus. In addition, she can call upon company purchasing agents that handle various companies' fleets, and rental agents. She is excited about her prospects, and expresses that well:

"I've had a love affair with cars since I was 13. However, the industry was not open to females until recently. This job also allows me to be an independent subcontractor. I am practically running my own business. Toyota provides me with a place to work, structured training, managerial support, tools to work with and a product. A very good quality product at that. I get exactly what I put in. There is no ceiling to my income. This is relationship sales. All of my tests indicate that I am good with people, I like to control my environment, I like to format new ideas that emerge into profit, etc. This position provides me the freedom to do all of that. Also I was provided with a salary plus commission until I build my client base. Should I decide to leave sales I can take a management position."

"I overcame age because I don't look , act or feel my age. And as far as unemployment I just told them the truth. However, I believe all of my experience and successes from my prior jobs with big companies pulled me through my recent termination at a much smaller and unknown company. Finally, I'm 15 minutes from home."
